The exhibition is located in the three halls of the southern part of the Russian merchant court. It is dedicated to a brilliant period in the history of the Northern Territory when Pomorye was one of the most socially and economically developed regions of Russia.
The base of the exhibition is genuine museum objects, many of which are unique works of ancient Russian art and are of great historical value. Especially for the exhibition, several models were designed and manufactured: ‘Moscow-North Tract, North-Moscow Tract’, ‘Life and Occupations of Kholmogory Delta Residents’, ‘Construction of Gostiny Dvor’, ‘Antonievo-Siysky Monastery’. Museum visitors can also see models of the ships from the era of the sailing fleet, a collection of old cannons and rare centuries-old books.
